The five different hunting bows, in no specific order, are as follows. The Bows. Mathews – V3 – 31. Elite – Enkore. PSE – EVO NTN 33. Prime – Nexus 2. Bowtech – Solution. Hoyt will not be in this review because of all the major problems I’ve personally had with them in the past. Mathews V3 – 31.The RX7 is a fantastic bow, and as long as nothing ever goes wrong with it, it will undoubtedly last you a very, very long time. It's a great all arounder, it's lightweight, accurate, and just as good for whitetail as it is for elk and bear. But you need to shoot one to decide for sure. Look into the high line.

I bought the RX7 Ultra, 28.5” 65# in Wilderness. The Ultra had a smoother draw and was virtually dead in the hand. The standard RX7 did feel snappier when shooting but the draw was a little stiffer (still incredibly smooth compared the the Mathews V3X) and there was an ever so slight amount of vibration at the shot (still less vibration the the V3X).

This year Hoyt released an all-new and completely redesigned cam system. The HBX cam is the engine that powers their Carbon RX-5, RX-5 Ultra, Ventum 30, and Ventum 33.
